I’m going to try the single rod setup and drill a new bolt hole closer to the fingerboard for the fixed bolt. Hopefully that changes the angle of attack for adjusting the neck tilt. Looking back, the two bolts were too close to each other and it wasn’t shifting the angle of the neck when I tightened or loosened the lower one. Also, I need to reinforce the sides of the pot because there’s a lot of cracking and creaking when I put pressure on the bolts. My friend who is a drummer and builder of many things suggested gluing an inch wide strip of hardwood on each side where the neck attaches and the opposite side where the tailpiece is, but to round the back so it conforms to the shape of the pot.

I took the awesome forearm guard that someone made and changed it a bit so it’s a leg rest. Just plunking the few notes I have on this thing have been awkward to say the least, so hopefully this works!
