I worked on it all weekend, was there a game or something on yesterday? Unfortunately, not much progress. The coordinator rod I had hoped to use to adjust the neck tilt isn’t working. The nut inserts I bought work okay for the 2 bolts that go into the neck, but not for the coordinator rod, the rod will back the nut out and that makes it a 1 way rod as it were. Definitely in its ugly duckling form right now!
I think I’m going to try this and rig up something that pushes the 2 bolts I have going into the neck. The holes I drilled for the 2nd coordinator rod are too close to the bolts I have holding the neck on and I really don’t want to drill more holes! Other than starting from scratch, I’m at a loss. Also, the pretty woodgrain on the snare drum is a sticker! 😀 I guess you get what you pay for, eh? I’ll have to replace that with some more interesting vinyl wrap.
