I used to work for Contour Design as their Shuttle multimedia controller product manager. Here’s a quick tip on how to get your Shuttle Xpress or Pro V2 working with your Mac that’s running macOS version Sequoia, as the directions on their website are out of date as of March 28, 2025.
- Head to Contour Design’s download page and download their Shuttle driver.
- Follow their instructions on the page for installation of the Shuttle driver.
- After restarting your Mac and logging back in, check the menu bar at the top of your screen and click on the Shuttle jog wheel icon and click Shuttle Settings…
- A dialog will pop asking you to go into the Security panel of System Settings. Apple has changed this security setting and it is now located in the General panel of System Settings.
- Open System Settings and click on General on the left, then scroll down to Login Items & Extensions and click that icon. Scroll down and click on the i with the circle around it next to Driver Extensions.
- Click the toggle button next to Contour Shuttle.app to allow macOS to use the Shuttle software extension. You may get a dialog to enter your administrator name and password. If so, enter that to allow this. After that you should be ready to use your Shuttle!
Enjoy!
